NOMINATIONS FOR THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MEN'S AND LADY'S DOUBLES
The early rounds of the championships will be held on the Saturday with the later rounds to be played on the Sunday.
There will also be a 65 and over round robin event (all to be played on the Sunday).
Names must be in by 5pm the Saturday prior to the event.
Entries are via the entry sheet on the club notice board or by emailing captain@busseltontennisclub.com.au
Each year the Tennis Club holds it annual club championships. These events are open to all financial members of the tennis club. They are played over 3 different weekends. Typically the main draw is a knockout event. The matches are generally played as best of two set format (with a match tiebreak to decide the match in the event of a one set all result).
There is typically a separate plate competition for first round losers (generally played as a round robin). Depending on the size of the draw a repecharge event for the second round losers is also played. The format is such that everyone regardless of their skill levels will get a decent amount of tennis.
Players are permitted (and encouraged) to nominate with a partner. However if you contact the match committee they will endeavour to pair you up if you cannot find a partner.
